April 2013
Wedding

Dear Madam or Sir:

We would like to share our incredibly positive experience with Sazama’s Fine Catering and the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts. We hosted our wedding reception at this location on Saturday, April 13, 2013 and could not express enough how happy we were with the professionalism and class with which the staff at Sazama’s handled this event.

We looked at around 12 different venues, but none offered the amenities, affordability, and service that Sazama’s/The PAC did. Keith Aspinwall, the general manager, by far made us feel the most comfortable of any managers we met with in the area. His incredible attention to detail, yet flexible nature made us feel very confident that he would design and execute a celebration customized to our wants and needs, which he did with class and style.

Throughout the entire planning process, Keith and Sazama’s fell nothing short of amazing. With each meeting, and our (many) emails, we received very prompt, well-written communication that took care of all needs and questions we had. Keith also offered very creative suggestions to fit exactly the style and feel we were looking for. A true testament to his commitment to his meticulous and detailed planning is that when Keith became very ill days before our reception, Karin Hurley picked up right where he left off and didn’t miss a beat. Keith even pulled himself out of bed to make it to our event after several days of serious illness! This really meant the world to us.

The entire staff was very well prepared and provided wonderful service to our guests. We received numerous compliments about how wonderful the food was and how polite the catering staff was. Even after the event, the Sazama’s staff helped package all our glassware and additional decorations, making the next-day clean up nothing more than a stop to grab items. Karin even took the elevator down with us and helped us load items into our cars. From start to finish, Sazama’s and the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts was incredibly accommodating, in every sense of the word.

We would highly recommend the Sazama’s and PAC staff for any wedding or event. Please feel free to contact us for any additional feedback or recommendation.

Thank you,

David & Laura

Red Baraat Live at Peck - August 27th, 2013
Red Baraat is a pioneering eight-piece band from Brooklyn, New York. The group has drawn worldwide praise for its singular sound -- a merging of hard driving North Indian bhangra rhythms with elements of jazz, go-go, brass funk, and hip-hop. Created with no less a purposeful agenda than manifesting joy and unity in all people, Red Baraat’s spirit is worn brightly on its sweaty and hard-worked sleeve.
